CSM Names New Vice President of Financial Services and CFO
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary (CSM) is pleased to announce Amy Carolus, EMBA, has been named the vice president of financial services and chief financial officer. She will begin her duties January 6.
With more than 25 years of impactful leadership in the nonprofit sector, Carolus has a proven record of driving long-term financial stability and organizational growth.
“Amy brings an exceptional combination of financial expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to community service,” CSM President Heather Smith said. “Her ability to drive organizational growth and build strong partnerships will support our mission to empower women and develop leaders. We are excited to welcome her to the CSM community.”
In this role, Carolus will oversee accounting, finance, financial aid and human resources, ensuring financial stewardship and resource alignment. She will leverage her expertise in leading initiatives that optimize financial operations, building partnerships that benefit communities, and implementing strategies for sustainable growth to support CSM’s goals.
Carolus’ professional accomplishments are complemented by her dedication to community service. She has served on the boards of several local nonprofits, focusing on housing, healthcare, and human services, reflecting her dedication to creating opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.
Carolus and her husband, Bryan, have four grown children and live on an acreage near Treynor, Iowa. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with their dogs
